Thank you for the game!! My students are obsessed with Among Us lately, so I have been trying to do a few different games using the characters.
If you don't mind my asking, how are you doing an Among Us camp? I was thinking of theming my camp in this way, but I really only had enough vocabulary material and game /craft ideas to do one day of camp. How are you filling your days?
My camp is 10 days long. I have groups of kids separated into class A and B both of which I see every day. I have group A from 9am until 10:20am and group B from 10:50 until 12:10 (80 minutes each).
So essentially I have to plan 10 x 80 minute lessons.
The way I usually like to do camp is by making a workbook, teaching the content via PPT, the kids use this to complete the workbook pages for that day, and then we play a game for review and do an activity (usually art). I'm still making the materials at the moment so it's not complete (my camp starts in mid January). At the moment the topics I plan to cover are (not necessarily in this order):
1. Introduction
2. Navigation - Prepositions and directions
3. Present Continuous verb conjugation
4. Past tense verb conjugation
5. Colours
6. Expressing opinions (I think that...)
7. Must/Mustn't vs Can/Can't
8. Body Parts
9. Among Us specific slang
10. Wrap Up/game day
It would be really easy to tie in some space related content if you're looking for more material. You could definitely pull stuff from pre-existing space camps. Once my materials are complete I'll probably upload it all, but I can't say when that will be. There's definitely a wealth of Among Us themed games that can be tailored to any topic now floating about on this site and others :)
