https://newarena.com/entertainment/25-most-overrated-singers-of-all-time/25/?amxt=tbdt_ref_2_all10

Save time, here's the list:

1: Jim Morrison
2: Jennifer Lopez
3: Justin Bieber
4: Madonna
5: Ed Sheeran
6: Taylor Swift
7: Bob Dylan
8: Chris Martin
9: Miley Cyrus
10: Kurt Cobain
11: Janet Jackson
12: Sid Vicious
13: Selena Gomez
14: Bono
15: Avril Lavigne
16: Rihanna
17: Adam Levine
18: Britney Spears
19: Liam Gallagher
20: Lou Reed
21: Dave Mathews
22: Axl Rose
23: Camila Cabello
24: Ozzy Osbourne
25: Katy Perry

Any list of the most over-rated singers that doesn't have Mick Jagger on it is a laugh from the get-go in my opinion.

Granted, I've never even heard of some of these people and never listened to others, I do take exception to 2 choices. I think Miley Cyrus is a damn fine singer and I think Ozzy is a good singer too.

Help others, especially animals. Say what you think, being considerate of others. Appreciate more than deprecate. Teach well and jump on teachable moments. Enjoy Korea as it is, without changing it. Yet, at times, change your life for the better. "The most important [thing] is to have a good day."

You have to be rated first before you can be judged as overrated I'd have thought. Has anyone ever claimed Sid Vicious was a good singer? Johnny Rotten was the main vocalist anyway.

I have never even heard of this person. Am I living under a rock? I'm not a Gen Z either.

On another note I am not claiming Selena Gomez is a technically outstanding singer but I love her music from about 5 years ago. There are some jams. I still don't think she could ever be considered an "overrated" singer though, as I don't think she was ever really hyped up for her music that much. I feel like she is more well-known for her roles in acting.

The band that kicked off the punk movement in the UK. Blowing away the album producing stadium bands of the 1970s and paving the way for working class kids to pick up guitars and form independent bands with a simpler, rawer sound.

Unless you're going to pick some objective measure to judge e.g. Who has the broadest vocal range? Who has the strongest projection? Who's able to sustain a note the longest etc. you can't really judge.

The correct answer is, who gives a sh*t?

Also, some on the list are more writers or instrumentalists than singers.

Addendum: There are a few dancers too!

Jim Morrison was a good singer and not overrated.

Ringo Starr, Mick Jagger and Ozzy should be on the list!

Yeah, John Lennon was an overrated drummer too.
