Any list of the most over-rated singers that doesn't have Mick Jagger on it is a laugh from the get-go in my opinion.

Granted, I've never even heard of some of these people and never listened to others, I do take exception to 2 choices. I think Miley Cyrus is a damn fine singer and I think Ozzy is a good singer too.

You have to be rated first before you can be judged as overrated I'd have thought. Has anyone ever claimed Sid Vicious was a good singer? Johnny Rotten was the main vocalist anyway.

The band that kicked off the punk movement in the UK. Blowing away the album producing stadium bands of the 1970s and paving the way for working class kids to pick up guitars and form independent bands with a simpler, rawer sound. 

Unless you're going to pick some objective measure to judge e.g. Who has the broadest vocal range? Who has the strongest projection? Who's able to sustain a note the longest etc. you can't really judge.

The correct answer is, who gives a sh*t?

Jim Morrison was a good singer and not overrated.

Ringo Starr, Mick Jagger and Ozzy should be on the list!
