Thought I'd finally get on the bandwagon and make an Among Us-themed game. I hope I'm not too late! Much of the game concept comes from the gameplay of the actual game and is sort of a mix of a telepathy, stay alive, and ninja attack game. It can be used for speaking, reading, or writing practice. For sound effects and graphics, I tried to stay as true to the actual game as possible as well. Let me know if you have any questions or find anything I need to adjust in the game. This is a new game concept, so I'm interested to hear how it works in your classes. I hope your students enjoy it!

How to play (see PPT for visual instructions):
Split students up into 6 teams (blue, white, green, orange, yellow, and pink). Each team starts the game with 5 lives. Each round, a team will choose a number on the map. That number will go to one of two slides: either a voting slide or a task slide.

On the voting slide, there are three crewmates with boxes next to them. Teams discuss which crewmate they think is the impostor. When time is up, each team will cast their vote by saying the word or sentence in the box of their choice. After all teams have cast their votes, the teacher will reveal which of the three crewmates was the impostor. If on the voting slide, the impostor had the most votes, all teams stay alive (no one loses any lives). However, if the impostor didn't have the most votes or there was a tie, the teams who didn't vote for the impostor lose a life and the team(s) who did vote for the impostor gain a life. The teacher keeps track of each team's lives on the in-game scoring slide.

On the task slide, teams will be confronted with a certain task, which ultimately is up to you when you edit game. Example tasks include unscramble a word or sentence, translate, answer the question, fill-in-the-blank, use the picture to say a word/sentence, etc. One student from each team will stand up and once the teacher reveals the task, the first student to raise their hand and complete the task correctly gains a life for their team.

If a team loses all their lives, they become a ghost. Meaning, their team can still vote, but the only way they can get back in the game is to gain a life through a task (can't through voting). The team with the most lives at the end of the game is the winner!

Further instructions on how to play/how to use the PowerPoint can be found in the notes section of each slide. However, VERY IMPORTANT, make sure you use the in-game hyperlinks to switch between slides - don't click or press the arrow keys or space bar - or you will reset the scoring, map, and voting slides. Due to this, this game may only work with PowerPoint 2013 or later. Earlier versions may have issues with slides resetting.

This is fabulous, thanks! I'll use this at the end of some of my classes when we finish a few minutes early.

This is absolutely AMAZING and I can't thank you enough for it. For anyone using this template, it took me around 30 minutes to play through it (we actually didn't have time to finish in one class). If your students are higher level and don't need as much explanation to understand then it might go by quicker, but it's great if you need to fill a lesson!

The Impostor is a game to be played during the break at a conference. It is based on the idea that if you can find the impostor among you, you win a prize (e.g. a new product, an invitation for lunch, etc).www.omegle.fyi www.bazoocam.fyi www.chatrandom.one

The game is played by distributing a set of cards to each participant. Each card describes one of your colleagues in some way - their name and where they work, their job, their interests... and they also include some information that identifies them as an impostor.

There are two ways to identify an impostor: by looking at their card or by asking them a direct question. The game ends when someone correctly identifies the impostor or when time runs out. If no one has identified the impostor after some time has passed then everyone wins!

You will need two colours of playing cards for this game. We recommend using red and blue cards as these are nice and easy to tell apart when scanning across the table for your next question, but any two colours will do. Pick one colour for "impostors" and one colour for "legit".

I played it with my friends at recess time of class, things got more unpredictable when everyone was suspicious. But I admit that this game is very interesting.
