I got that too.
Almost as entertaining as the death threats I used to get a few years ago.

Not that I don't believe that this message is 100% true, but since when do French women refer themselves as "Mrs.Firstname"?

Godson is a pretty popular Nigerian name.

There's been an uptick in scams lately. They became more prevalent as a result of the pandemic in general, but there's been a new surge. I'm kind of surprised they made it here on waygook, seems like an odd place to fish for victims, but maybe this person figured they wouldn't have a lot of competition here.

I didn't realize that new users with no posting history at all were able to message other users.

I'll mute them, but I'm not sure if that prevents messaging too.

I didn't.   I never even got one of those copyandpaste threat PMs from way back.

Yeah, I remember some members saying that they would receive the exact same threats every year and sometimes in different forums. Pretty sure I remember a guy saying that he'd received them in Dave's, too.

One or two users even complained that the spelling and grammar errors were never fixed, lmao.
