Ah, I'm actually looking more at Hagwon jobs. I have been at one for two years and enjoy it. I did actually apply to EPIK but it seems to be a bit of a mess over there and even my recruiter is confused with their acceptions/ rejections this time around. I think it may be partially due to all the deferrals from last year.

Either way, evening Hagwon jobs are a bit more suited to me currently. I am applying on various sites of course.

Yeah, independent hires are pretty rare, and while I've seen one or two adverts from schools posting vacancies, usually it's just via word of mouth from other public school teachers so it might be pretty hard to stumble across something that would suit you without already having local connections.

Although I remember that there's a SA teacher placement agency for ESL in South Korea. Used to be called "Teach Korea", but now has changed its name to "GoldKey Education" I think. I have a few Saffer friends who've used it and highly recommend it.
