My new Kindle arrived last week. Excited. My old one crapped out after a long useful life.

I have a file with about 300 books in it if someone wants to do some trading. Not too sure how it could happen. Not very techie.

Nonetheless, a colleague told me about "Z Library". It's a website where you can download 10 books a day for free. They have anything you could want including new releases and the best sellers on the NY Times list right now. Info for those who love to read.

In the last week I've read 2 Grisham novels, Freakonomics and am halfway through Super Freakonomics.

I love my Kindle!

I download 10 books a day. First I convert them to Mobi files, I have my Kindle plugged into the computer, then when the conversion is done which takes a few seconds, I save them directly to my Kindle. Don't know about this $1 a day thing. Even still, $1 a day for 10 books. That's a bargain.

Are they low-grade pop books written for the dull-witted?

No, they are whatever books you want. I have yet to search for a book from Z Library and been disappointed. As to the mixed up font/spelling thing. I have noticed it in a couple of books but that's it. And the instances are very infrequent and it's the same word or words. It is absolutely not an issue. An entire Grisham novel with a dozen such things, nothing to get wound up about.

I've even downloaded a service manual for my motorbike and helpful books for teaching the kids.
