My name is Sana Ali, and I am interested in obtaining a teachers position in a hagwon/academy. Specifically, I’m interested in positions available in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do provinces, starting in the fall of 2021 and onwards.

I graduated from university in the spring of this year, and I hope to get some experience under my belt before returning to university to obtain a Master of Education degree. My major focused on Korean culture, history and language, which has prepared me for most cultural differences. I believe that the time I spent abroad in places such as the United Arab Emirates, Egypt, as well as a yearlong exchange at Ewha Women’s University, has equipped me with the ability to adapt to a new environment quickly and efficiently.

While I have no professional teaching experience as of yet, I do have a 4-year-old niece that I think has me prepared somewhat to work with younger children.

I have completed a 4-year B.A. as well as a 120 hour TEFL course.
