Two programs run under one umbrella.
There is a position available with a Dec 13 start date in Rise Jinju with an elevated start rate due to the urgency of the position. To obtain the position, the applicant must be in Korea and available to start on Dec 13 and have experience teaching Kindergarten/Elementary.
RISE Jinju
Location: Jinju (Innovation City), Gyeongnam Province, South Korea
Start Date: March 2022
Vacancy: 5 positions
Working Time: Monday to Friday 9:30am to 6:30pm
Teaching Time: 50 minute classes; 6 class a day maximum; 30 classes a week

Salary: 2.2 million won base; 100,000 won increases given for: previous experience;
bachelor degree in education; master degree in education, linguistics, English, or
subject field such as science; TEFL/TESOL/CELTA/DELTA certificate; teaching license
Number of Native Teachers: 10
Housing: studio for single teacher; one bedroom for couple teacher; dependent on
availability and teacher circumstances (e.g. family); or housing stipend
Vacation: 10 days (5 days in July; 5 days in December); national holidays
Airfare: one-way
Severance: one month salary after completed 12 month contract
National Pension, Health Insurance: 50% split between RISE Jinju and teacher
Contract period: one year; option to renew

Leap Innovation International Program (LIIP)
Location: Jinju (Innovation City), Gyeongnam Province, South Korea

Working Time: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm
Teaching Time: 40 minute classes; 5 classes a day maximum; 25 classes a week

Salary: 2.4 million won base; 100,000 won increases given for: previous experience;
bachelor degree in education; master degree in education, linguistics, English, or
subject field such as science; TEFL/TESOL/CELTA/DELTA certificate; teaching license
Number of Native Teachers: 6
Housing: studio for single teacher; one bedroom for couple teacher; dependent on
availability and teacher circumstances (e.g. family); or housing stipend
Vacation: 20 days; national holidays
Camp: 3 weeks in January & 3 weeks in August with reduced hours
Airfare: one-way
Severance: one month salary after completed 12 month contract
National Pension, Health Insurance: 50% split between LIIP and teacher
Contract period: one year; option to renew
Prefer: to hire from within Korea; F-visa with experience or E-2 with teaching license
