Hello, I was instructed to teach After School English for 'slow learners.'
For an update, the kids did start to do alot well in class after attending the class.
I made these Powerpoint Presentations to show the kids the difference in each sound. I went in order of short A-E-I-O-U then long A-E-I-O-U.
I taught one vowel sound per class. For example Day 1 was Short A. Then we practiced with games or for long vowels we started reading short vowel stories.

The stories I introduced too late into the classes but they're extremely helpful.
