I don't know who has good drivers, but I agree that Russia is at another level. If you hit another car in Russia it seems one of two things happen- Either some out of shape guy gets out and tries to fight you OR some guy(s) who look like total killers just calmly walk away from the car and abandon the scene.
There are definitely different levels of suck, but I have observed that in countries with enforcement of laws people tend to follow them.
Only place I've driven in with zero drama was Japan. South Korea is obviously a cluster**** as we all know. Three Koreans crashed into me in completely ridiculous situations. I didn't find Thailand to be that bad because people drove pretty slowly, but the road layout was pretty terrible, like you'd go from a 6 lane highway to a single-lane village road where you had to inch forward while bikes and pedestrians and other cars passed around you.The US is completely unpredictable. When I learned to drive in LA everyone drove really courteously and nicely. I went back for a visit a few years later and everyone there had gone insane. Here in New Zealand driving in the city is ok but you do get a lot of tailgaters. Outside of the city the roads are the main danger because a "highway" here is a 2-lane windy road where you go 100kph, and everyone else is driving massive SUVs going 120.
Courteous, patient, no "me-first" attitude, defensive drivers......Where does this country exist?
Does this also apply to the crosswalk light on the road one is turning onto?
Good information, thanks! I was aware that there was a change, but some of the stories seem to contradict one another.Would it be possible to share the link to the video?
