Having to Cancel a Subscription from Korea with a US Number
« on: January 24, 2022, 09:19:02 pm »
I managed to to get through to PayPal using my mom's number who has not been in good health from Long Covid.

It appears that you can only cancel using PayPal, a horrible third party service, to pay for lesson plans taken from at least some creators without their permission.

Why would a website rely on a third-party service difficult to set up in Korea, as regularly comes up in threads, forcing people to rely on phone numbers from their home countries?

And, yes, I am aware I am paid for this website even after it sold other people's materials apparently without asking them.  Last minute assignments sometimes force you to grab materials quickly, but I am still complicit.

You can scan the QR codes below for the most regularly mentioned resources so you are not directly to spam.org.

Might be a good idea for anyone to put QR codes in their signatures if you are so inclined.  Most people use a work computer and a phone at the same time.

hahaha   fantastic.  if only new people knew about this kind of site before they sign up. or if they were told what had happened to the formerly free, now paid site.

You can't log into PayPal from here?  I always access my Canadian PayPal from here no problems.  I occasionally lock myself out by forgetting a password and have to call a 1 800 number back home via Skype.  But otherwise no issues.  Never saw the point of useless Korean PayPal.  Waste of time in my opinion.
