Baseball and Horse Racing.

There's the excitement of various sports of foot, basket, and puck. The art of tennis and golf. Auto-mobiling sports and their drama. The thrill of an epic bout of various forms of pugilism. But there is something about the pastoral, languid pace of these sports punctuated by moments of sheer excitement and drama, plus the whole outdoor summer setting. Tennis comes close, but is too restrained and does not permit extreme exuberance.

Softball and Darts

Football, either of touch of both hands or full-tackle (though wisdom makes one realize that one should not engage in full-tackle for the sake of their faculties). Basketball is great fun, but is not kind with age. As are judo, football, and baseball. Softball on the other hand, remains great. Otherwise, I like the thrill of precision, target sports. Your golf, your shooting, your archery, your darts.

Also, I really would like to go trail riding. 'Trail riding' would be words of joy.
