Actually I have been using a cold brew machine plus a hot coffee machine and brewing my own coffee at home. So, I haven't actually been to Starbucks for ages. But damn those beans have been rising in price lately. Still cheaper than grabbing a coffee out. So, that leaves the Starbucks girls for the rest of you punks....
Excuse my ignorance, but what is a cold brew machine? I have always assumed making cold brew involved nothing more than soaking the coffee in cold water.
Yes you can and it probably tastes better that way. But time consuming. With the machine done in 45 minutes give or take (for the stronger brew). Not as good as the natural in flavor but is done fairly quick with very little work. I just have to grind the beans before putting in the scoops. The natural way you are suppose to cold brew for a day or so. (I want my coffee now!!!)High Mart was selling an American one but with the 220 V plug a couple of years ago. (I don;t think they have now.) This is the same one I have.https://www.amazon.com/Cuisinart-DCB-10-Automatic-Coffeemaker-Silver/dp/B073S5JHRV
I'm not much of a cold brew drinker so didn't know there was a way to do it faster. I'd be interested to see if the taste is really all that different using the machine vs overnight soaking.
Hi there,Can I join in this thread?
Of course you can Lucky! The thread's dead but say what you want to say. Do you want to talk about coffee (those 2 have been muted)
Lol. People aren't muted for speaking the truth, especially about coffee.Let's all get along. We loathe the mute function because we tolerate free speech until we no longer can't.
1. You don't know how to mute people. I recall you demanding that the other mods mute Billy for a rather tame joke.
Billy: yeah the daddy joke, resulting in the THAT IS BEYOND INAPPROPRIATE response and his call for your head. Now he seems very conflicted on whether he hates you or wants to bed you.
