Need Ideas - Leaving Korea - School Memorabilia
« on: May 16, 2022, 01:06:22 pm »
Hi!
I am leaving Korea on 06/01 but I want to do something my last day of classes. I want to have something to remember this experience and my kids with.

Have any of yall done any fun projects with your kids before you moved schools? Some craft for memorabilia? Like have them draw pictures on 4x6 cards or something simple like that?

ive only taken class pictures but you can ask for an extra copy of the school yearbook if they have any and are willing to let you have one........

i dunno what level you are but I've saved really cool projects that my students did such as the time they wrote comic books...i kept those and laminated them.....

my students also made music videos to a song of their choosing either an eng song or a Korean song if they wrote out the lyrics in eng and I've kept all those.....that would be really cool to do and it doesn't take up physical space in your bags.....you really get to see their personalities and remember other memories with them I think

you may not have time for any of those though

You can buy a Korean flag and get them all to sign it or write a comment. This
is pretty standard.

Popsicle stick picture frames and bring an instant camera like a polaroid or if there’s a good printer you can print off hd pics.

Congratulations.
I put this quote under my profile because D.L. Orean is jealous of me.  He quotes my every word like gospel and stalks my every move online.  He even puts fake quotes under his profile.  How lame is that?  He must be real ugly if he's going to such great lengths to comment on my own appearance....

This is a great idea. You may have a flag of your province or township. Ask at the local government office, they should have some and give you one for free.

OHH! This is a good idea. I will see if I can find something like that. I also was thinking about the polaroid's, or finding disposable cameras and letting the kids take their own selfies.
Thank you all for the suggestions!
