"Greek composer Vangelis, who was known for his celebrated film themes for Chariots of Fire and Blade Runner, has died at the age of 79."

Blade Runner has one of favorite film scores and the movie itself, is one of my favorites. I think Vangelis' score just enhances that movie so much. He will be missed!

i still have a copy of chariots of fire a neighbor gave me for my high school graduation. still haven't watched it (i dont own a dvd player)

anyways, RIP, it seems like good cinema scores were already getting tougher to come across

The main theme from Chariots of Fire is iconic.
