During imbibing-
Back in the days of 10-15,000 won fruit plates, it was always those. Nutrients, vitamins, hydration.
Otherwise, pickles are good. Fresh or pickled tomatoes. Tapas. Russians and Euros have a good idea of what to eat while drinking- be refreshed, not downing fried crap. That mackerel you get at Korean places is good too. "Why do I feel like shit the next day?" asks person who shoveled crap into their mouth while drinking.
Always a wrong bet- Taco Bell, Fried Chicken, Chili Cheese Fries, White Castle, Lamb kebabs (love em but they exacerbate gut rot), any Korean spicy soup, dwaeji galbi, samgyeopsal (but weirdly not moksal or jokbal, must be the extra grease),
3.6 Roentgen (not great, not terrible/Really hit or miss)- Pizza, American Chinese, Fish and Chips, Bangers & Mash (can either be really great or really dodgy), raw fish (see B&M), Jimmy John's, mozzarella stix, soondae, ddeokbokki.
Next day? Assuming that drinking went well, something refreshing. Eat good, refreshing food and you can beat the next "blahs". Something like soba or a nice sandwich or a poke bowl.
If you've hit the blarghs, then cold pizza is always solid. Mac & cheese is a classic.
Full breakfast is always best enjoyed when you know you're winding down but you aren't wasted and you know you won't be gutrotted the next day. If eaten while wasted or while gutrotted, those eggs can cause things to go south pretty fast. It is great after a night of mild drinking where you know it's just going to be a relaxing day of watching football or something.
