Some of my students still have trouble counting up to 30, so we practiced using this video. They caught on really quick. After we practiced counting some more using number sticks. Each student gets a number (1-30) and then the students will recite the numbers in order. They will have to stand up and shout out the number according to their stick. We started a little slow and then went faster. They liked it a lot.

PPT story using target language of How Old Are You ?
I used puppets to tell the story, and children joined in with repetitive language.

Hidden number game. Children call out number hidden. Class then counts together to said number.
Can also clap out the number eg 20 claps. Or jump the number if the class unresponsive and need of a wake up. EG 15 jumps on the spot.

This is nice and colorful. I may use this with my student, but maybe size the pictures down a little and make the sentences roll in one by one on slides 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10. Thanks for sharing

A game for guessing how old the child/children in the picture are. My coteacher gave me this PPT (no idea where she got it). I edited some pictures to include more Koreans and people from other cultures

"hot potato game" is so similar to my game that I did today.
I used chairs instead of balls. The chairs should be in lack of one.
When music stops, all students should take a seat while one of them has no chair.
He or she is the person who should answer.
