Yes, lots of young people here have various hobbies including cosplay. Googling 'Korea cosplay' will return lots of results including cosplay conventions.I'm surprised there are still people here who repeat the mantra that Koreans are soulless automatons who only work eat drink and sleep.
I saw a group of anime themed cosplayers at Yangjae Forest once.
YEs its called kpop
Seoul now does a yearly comic con, doesn't it? You'd probably see cosplays during that event.
I guess I am thinking of older Koreans who used to work 12-18 hours a day.The younger ones have broader interests and horizons.

Dude, it was referred to as cosplay and it was an all ages affair. Completely on topic. Get a life!
K-pop is just dance groups. :p Unless they wear anime/game costumes while dancing, I haven't personally seen that myself though. Also, Korea does have events where people cosplay and stuff, I don't know of any off the top of my head, but I do know they have them.I know of a couple of female Korean cosplayers that have done promotional stuff for Blizzard and some Korean game studios in cosplay.
