Jeju-do has those weird-ass ajumma constantly diving for pearls and seaweed and stuff. I am sorry but that is simply NOT my scene.
That's a cultural institution. They're training the next generation so it's not lost.

Middle-aged men with no manual labor skill flexing on and trashing elederly women who do manual labor and are in better shape at the age of 70 than they were at the age of 40 is really strange.

Doesn't take too much to figure out why they react in such a way.

This is incredibly true however I must warn you that I did have some hot chocolate with a marshmallow in it a couple of weeks ago. Might be a bit less definition on ol' gutsy at this current moment in time.

Now, speaking of marshmallows. If those haggardly diving bints were diving for actual marshmallows instead of sea urchin scraps then I I would gladly consider almost thinking about going to Jeju-do.

Not into Commander at all but curious about your Legacy deck, what are you running there?

I have a few Modern decks but clearly gravitate towards the old frame cards (pre-8th ed. and Mirrodin). With the older cards I can at least tell them apart most of the time purely based on the art; the newer ones mostly look the same to me, like this dull flat art that just doesn't pop out if that makes any sense. And of course I just prefer the older game play in general.

No no, sorry to disappoint, but marshmallows are raised on pastures! I drive past some prime marshmallow ranches on my way to work almost everyday!

And honestly, boiling these little guys alive in chocolate is almost *offensively* manly.

It's this type of thinking that does more harm than good. Aquatic marshmallows are still part of the marshmallow family, whether you want to admit it or not! Different shapes, same genus and all that as they say.

Listen, just because marshmallows typically wear sailor outfits when they grow up doesn't mean that they come from the sea!!!!!1!!

for legacy I have taxes (60 count, no yorion) and most of maverick - think im missing a single green suns, but thats also including cards i switch over from taxes. will probably complete it separately sometime next year. considered stoneblade at some point, maybe i will invest in a couple tundras if they ever dip a bit in price.

art has been getting worse, and wizards business model has been growing closer and closer to that of pokemon and yugioh, unfortunately. i prefer old borders mainly because they look cleaner, none of this smooth-lined "modernized" nonsense. and they also dont have that stupid holographic circle on them.
