I refused to watch last year's Super Bowl because I grew up a Seahawks fan (bused to Seattle for a game and watched regularly on the Northwest local TV) and my second fav team was Cleveland, so their Ohio rival Cincy i had no interest in. It was the perfect storm of idgaf.

Seattle's other NFC historic rival SF is threatening to be with Cincy. They are both complete teams.

I hope Mahomes, Kelci and Chris Jones have HOF resume-building performances; Hurts and the 3 "Batman" deliver.

I would rather be happy than right.
SF's historic rivals are the Rams and the Cowboys. Seattle is a johnny come lately.

Idgaf which teams are SF's rivals, at least since they kicked my Joe Montana to the curb, making him a Chief and me instantly a KC fan (Montana there, then rookie TE - my position in high school - turned-eventual-HOFer Gonzalez, because Tony was as great as any passing TE ever, though Kelce may soon surpass him).

My Seahawks have loathed the 49ers and Rams as rivals since the 1980's (when i played in high school).

No love for Kellen Winslow? How about John Mackey?

Just because they're all on the West Coast doesn't mean they were rivals.

Of course. But the 49ers certainly were Seahawk rivals in the 1980s when i was in high school, and still are.

SO IT WAS SO SWEET to see Philly beat them today! It helped that the 9ers QB got injured early and the replacement was no Minshew or Foles. The San Fran defense kept them in it for a while.

And Mahomes eeked out a victory today thanks to a Cincy player pushing Mahomes down after he had both feet off the field, the penalty moving the ball into field goal position when it was the last minute, game tied. KC had lost the past three times they'd met, each by a field goal margin, so winning by one is apt.

Today is a good day!

Kelce vs. Kelce in the Superbowl!
The brothers have a podcast together. Can't wait for the next episode.

Jeez! Once Purdy went down the Niners had no shot. It didn't "help," it was the death knell. You can't win a championship with a practice squad QB. Niners defense eventually became so fatigued that the Eagles didn't even have to pass to move the ball.

As a Ram's fan, screw the Whiners and the Seachickens.

Shame about the Bengals getting reffed and bungling in typical fashion, though. Bengals - Eagles would've made a much more entertaining game.
