Hello, I am an American teacher with a valid teaching license, TEFL certification and 5 years experience including time in China and Taiwan.

I am looking to come to Korea some time this Spring. I have already begun preparing my documents.

I am interested in positions in Seoul and Busan, though I am willing to consider other major cities.

I am currently interviewing for positions offering 2.8+.

If you believe I would be a good candidate for your school please contact me.

I look forward to working with you.

You can definitely find that nowadays, but many employers are paying so reluctantly kicking and screaming.  For years they had it too good with lots of lemmings that would come over here for much lower pay.  Hence it is why you will still some lagging.  But search here, you can find that pay level.  You can also contact some that say pay is negotiable, though they may try to nickle and dime you.

But, I suggest you go after them.
Happy Teachers Day to New Orleans.

You can definitely find those 2.8+ jobs. But if you want to maximize your salary, China is the place to go.
