How to Upload/Download Files
« on: September 20, 2006, 09:25:51 am »
Notice: You MUST be logged-in and have a subscription to download or even see the little paperclip for attachments.  The subscription fee is minimal and helps us keep the site running adequately for everyone.

To Upload files:  Use  "Additional Options" when you reply to a post or create a new topic.  It should appear right above your "Post", "Preview", and "Spell Check" buttons when you're typing something in the forums.

Here is an example of an uploaded file, you should see it at the bottom of my post (normally the big arrow isn't there, it's for demonstration purposes only):

I cleaned this section up a little bit.

The small subscription fee isn't to monetize the site.  Although it's understandable that teachers put effort into creating and uploading them to share with others, it also takes a lot of effort and resources to maintain waygook.  You may have noticed upgrades, and those were possible due to the subscription fees.  The fees are minimal, simply because their purpose is for maintenance.

p.s.  More could be done with advertisements, but ultimately we would like to get rid of it altogether.  We are aiming at developing the site further to provide a richer set of features to teachers, including a better user experience.
