This is a review game for the material from Chapter 1-8.

The first page is customized using the mascots for my school, so you are welcome to change it to graphics from your school.
I am playing as an elimination style game where every student gets a whiteboard made of laminated white sheets which make white boards. Each student must write down the answer, incorrect answers result in elimination. There is a resurrection round half way through when all the eliminated students can rejoin the game if they get the following question correct.

Enjoy!

Thanks for all the work done on this lesson ... I've just started 5th grade and you guys really helped me.
Attached is a review on when to use 'play' and when to use 'go', and 'lets' and 'how about'.  I don't follow all the rules but this should @ make sense for this lesson. Attached to it is a 'pass the ball came' - thank you for the animations on the 'pass the paper ball' game.
I also attache the music I used as I don't know how to embed it into the file. Use it, change it ... what ever keeps you smiling.

I also made a dice bomb game - template attached
It gets a little complicated but if you are able to explain it to the Ss properly, and they are able to get it, it can be very fun.
1.There are 2 die, one with pictures of various activities and another with responses such as " sounds great!" "why not!" ( I made 3 sets)
2. Each team gets a dice ( not a set), thus team A has a picture dice and Team B has a response dice.
3. Team A rolls their dice, and team B rolls their dice. Team a will ask team B "How about playing ...."  ( if they landed on soccer on their dice they will say "soccer". Team B will respond with the answer on their dice ie. " why not!"/ " Sorry, I can't, I have ...".
4. -  If team B has a positive answer ie. "Sure sounds great!" They get the score under the box that Team A choose on the bomb game
    -   If team B has a negative answer ie. " Sorry I can't!' - then team A get the score in the box they choose on the bomb game.
5. - Ss may choose the group they will battle against or Ts may allocate an order of rotation.
    - If Ts don't make a set for each team, Ts will need to rotate the die that each team has a turn to ask and answer questions.
    - Obviously this is not the only way for the game to be played, you could play traditional bomb game or come up with other alternatives.

Have fun  :)

So for story time i just redid the 'fill in the blanks' ppt a bit (thanks for the people who supplied the pictures and the inspiration)
and i did the 'baskin robbins' reading game as a review of all four chapters.
Love baskin robbins btw thanks for reminding me of it.
Hope it helps :)

Here is a "What are you doing?" PPT with our friend 졸라맨 (stickman). The language is really simple because I made it for grade 4, if you want to adapt it, be my guest.

This is an unscramble and write the sentences Word document.  There are 10 sentences for Ss to unscramble, and 3 sets of sentences per A4 sheet.  Print and cut up as many as you need.

I would like to share all of my files for this lesson. I hope they can be used in some way for the 2012 school year. Included are the following:

-Vocabulary ppt (incl. spelling and key expressions practise)
-Reviews for periods 2, 3, 4, and 5
-Matching game (students must match identical key expressions)
