Grade 4, lesson 5 - Wow, It's Friday! (Cameron Wood book)
« on: June 14, 2011, 02:25:04 pm »
This text book is so weak. There is barely any key expressions or new vocab.

Here is a PPT using the main sentence structure for 'Listen and Do 2.'

Can the mods link this to the proper book in the grade 4 index. Thanks.

Making a Mario game as we speak. Wasting way too much time on it, but need something to add to the classes.

Hope some others have something for this lesson too.

In complete agreement with you about the textbook being weak.

Here are two worksheets.
1 is a listening worksheet
2 is writing practice (write out the word 3x)
3 is a word search
4 is a 'Let's go bla bla' worksheet

Here is a Pororo review game for Chapter 4 - What time is it? and Chapter 5 - Wow, It's Friday. Kudos to whoever created the original template, I just modified the questions for a review.

Reading and Writing game.

Unscramble the words and write them in notebooks. They have 20seconds.

Here is a fun informational section I made for the Greek mythology section on page 68. It tells the students about the days, what they mean, the Greek gods, and has a short quiz at the end. Enjoy!
