I love the part where they can pick 5 points or the pot :)

I haven't seen that before and it looks fun.

Here's the BETA version of my first super successful bomb game!

YOU WILL NEED TO DL ALL  OF THESE!
1. Kung Fu Panda Font
2. Trailer - you will get a big black box if you don't dl.
3. The bomb game itself. (Want 2003? Check the url below.)

Alternatively you can download the games from google docs.
Let me know if there's any bugs or improvements I can make.
So far, my students are having a blast with it :)

The game looks amazing, but I'm having issues with the trailer not showing when the doors open. I certainly appreciate your help. Thanks!!!!

Did you use the google doc link? Or did you download it from Waygook?

If the latter, make sure the trailer is extracted and moved into the same folder as the bomb game.

Let me know how it goes. I'll look into it more if it doesn't work.

Those paper screen doors look familiar.  =)  Really nice game.  I can suggest ways to chop down the file size, but I think Sprite06 is doing that already.

One thing is perhaps the cut scenes are taking away too much from the actual practice of the target language.

It looks great, and deserves a scoreboard, so I will post one in a few minutes.

I'm not  ;D  That was for a different game.

Rookiewaygook :

The game looks great.  Good game play, good visuals, good and relevant sound effects.  I especially like the red doors and their sound effect for some reason

Great first game.  Looking forward to your next  :D

Great game, I've already made one up for G6 Ch15 for next week. I'll post it in the correct forum later if you want to see it. One change I have made is to reduce the delay on the speech bubbles on the opening slide to 3 seconds per bubble. I really like the game, I'll see how it goes down with the students. Maybe some of the point slides animate a little slowly? I'll judge by the students reactions and maybe speed them up a little.

Thanks for the template, I've made a few simple ones, but none quite as good as this!

Thank you Charlie!

Taking your, my co-teacher's, and Daejeon's concerns into account, I adjusted most of the slides to go a little faster...some about 8 seconds faster!  I also fixed some bugs, so please download the most recent version!

And please do link us your lesson =)

Thanks for that, I take it the most recent copy is in your OP?

My version is on the Grade 6 Chapter 15 wall. I'll swap the slides into your new version and update my uploaded version today.

Hi,

I noticed that slides 46 and 56 in the updated version didn't auto advance to the point slide. In the version I have now uploaded to G6Ch15 I have replaced these slides with a copy of number 30.

Really nice work.  I just finished making my first game too and I know how much time and effort goes into them.  What's the next project?

Hi,

Someone commented on the version I uploaded that question "S" wasn't working properly. I've had a look and the panda on slide 23 needs hyperlinking to slide 52, not 55 as at the moment.

The latest version shouldn't have that problem...

=)

If they pick the five points, I give them the option to see what was in the pot. My class usually goes into a roar of disappointment or excitement. It's fun haha

I've just made a general sports quiz with your template - what the hell it's nearly the end of term - and it looks great.  I'll post it later.

I do have two little problems that I can't figure out though.

The 'explosion' sound with the cannon seems to be missing.  Is it just a stock explosion sound from ppt?

A bigger problem - and I'm not sure if I've just uploaded an earlier version - is the slide transitions from the Shen slides take it back to the board with all the letters back in place.

Suggestions?
