I would also recommend avoiding the word "cool," it shows a video of the bear and hunter peeing together and I'm not sure if it shows his dong or not but it shows something between his legs.
Really fun lesson, thanks for posting. It got quite a few laughs from my students and many were eager to share their stories with the class. The hanfout had a small error though. For the "Candy Store" story, number 5 (adjective) was missing so I just erased "tasty" and added it there. I have attached the file. Thanks again for a great lesson.
Good stuff. Tried it out in my class and it was a hit. I also stole an idea from one of the teachers at the Chungnam English contest who incorporated comic book drawing with mad libs. Had them basically draw their story in a comic strip. Found out most of the students weren't big on captioning/speech bubbles, so I tacked them on the wall and with just the comic drawings had them try to guess the story in each others comic.
I just used this class for the first time today and it went over insanely well! Even some of my more disruptive students were very involved and loved it! Great lesson plan.
The timing on this couldn't be better! Thank you so much for sharing! I am planning my winter camp lesson, and the theme is 'story writing' where they go home with a story they've written at the end of the week! One of the activities on Game Day is mad libs! I can't even begin to thank you enough for this!
Thanks for the share. ^^ My students will love this. Good day!
I got the students to work in teams (you could do as a partner activity) and they folded the paper so that they couldn't see the story itself. When they were done thinking of words, they opened the paper and filled in the blanks.
