Pizza Hut Scavenger Hunt
« on: December 12, 2011, 07:15:21 AM »
Hello,

A few weeks ago I did a scavenger hunt with all of my classes. Basically I gave them a list,  each item on the list gives them a certain number of points. Whichever class gets the most points in one week wins pizza hut for lunch. It went over very well and each of my 19 classes participated even if only a little. It came down very close point wise. I attached the powerpoint and the sheets I used. I made the images using Photoshop and Illustrator so if you want me to change the prize in the power point to something else, I'd be more than willing to change it for you. I'm sure you may have to change some of the items.

Oh, I love this!

I think my high school boys would really enjoy this.  Maybe I can use it as a reward activity or something.

Thanks for the great idea!   :D

Wow, what a great activity. This is so nicely done and such a nice idea. It would never work with my wild anim... uh, I mean kids, but it's awesome to see someone is being a super cool teacher out there and has the ability to do this with their kids.  :)

Thanks a lot Wintermute! I think I'm going to use this scavenger hunt before I leave in May - kind of like a good bye present.

This is fantastic!  It must have been a lot of extra work for you.  Your co-teachers and students must really appreciate all of your effort.  Even a little bit of extra effort makes the day better for everyone though, doesn't it?

Thanks so much for sharing this!

im considering doing this when it begins to get warmer, but with ice cream for everyone instead.

Its been a long time. I had a really good relationship with that pizza hut, it had a large female staff. So I just threw a few smiles and explained what it was for. It should have costed I think near 80 but I got it all for 30....? but its been a while.
