I got the idea for the paper airplane game from this site:
http://iteslj.org/games/and i got the connect 4 game from dave's esl cafe.
They are pretty self explanatory and I'm posting these 2 games because they've been quite a success with my middle school classes.
Paper airplane game: (this one can take a whole class)
for beginners: make teams and have them make their paper airplanes. then have them choose a number. that student will have to make a complete sentence using the word and/or picture as they see on the ppt. Once that student have successfully formed a sentence, go back to the target and let the student throw the paper airplane at the target. S/he will receive the amount of points as they hit.
Advanced: For these students, I simply came up with a list of 20+ Korean trivial questions. if they answer correctly, they can throw the plane at the target. I gave my students 3 tries when they miss.
Connect 4: (can take 15-20 mins)
2 teams. Each square has a verb in it and the student has to choose the square and form a sentence using that verb in past tense (or whatever you want). If they get it right, they will get their square. you can make it harder by forming a question or negative sentence using irregular verbs.
Hope you guys like these as this is my first time posting my own ppt creations on waygook.
