First of all, I can't recommend Prezi highly enough.
For this lesson, visit
www.prezi.com and search "MASH mansion." The more recent prezi (which actually has content!) is mine. You can save a copy for yourself. I have also attached the handout and the rough plan.
The Prezi demonstrates the popular kids' fortune-telling game. (I'm a man, so for my demonstration I have a list of potential wives, not husbands.) For the results, I'm thinking of typing it on MWord in front of the students or something. Not sure yet. Do as you will.)
If you don't know how to play MASH, just google it. It's very easy and fun. The handout is for students to use to play the game with a partner and report the results in story form. I have not used it yet (classes have not begun) but it is intended to last an entire class period. Or, to be used in Summer/Winter camps.
I got the idea from a friend who used to play MASH with her adult students. The higher the level, the more categories and varied content you can add of course. If you use this let me know how it goes!
