I combined a couple, but I'm still at 10 stickies. What other suggestions do you have? I hesitate to pull some of those down because the washing machine guide or the boiler ones are common questions.
Really, a lot of the clutter could be fixed if people simply used the search function, as just about every possible question has already been asked and answered several times. That's why making a giant "Life in Korea FAQ" sticky wouldn't work because people would just say "too long to read". Or, people would just skip over the stickies entirely, which happens now when people post "where can I get a cellphone" 80 pixels under a CELL PHONE FAQ thread.
A good fix, I think, would be to make the first page longer, with like 30 or so threads visible as opposed to 20. I don't have access to that, don't know if it's even possible, and don't know if that would make the page even slower, but it's an idea. What other suggestions do you have for dealing with the stickies?
