Another great video Adam. Ya know I was going to make a video of my own, but students find guys soooooooo much funnier than girls. And you can't really beat dudes in dresses in my students eyes, lol :P

Thanks for making them!

I made this for the Look & Speak section. The template is from wesbroe. It's a way to check listening skills for the dialogues.

I modified this The Price is Right game from last year. I got the students to write their prices on white boards.
Its easy to change the items/prices if you need to.

I'm doing my open class on Monday and here is the game I'm using for the Speaking section.

Money Throw-

Print out the cards ($ sign on the back side) and tape them on the board before class ( I usually don't use the board during the speaking section). 1 student from each team line up and take turns throwing a soft ball at the board to hit a card. Then they flip it over, say the target sentence, and receive the points indicated on the card.

ENJOY! :D

Good motivation video. I play the video with no sound so students guess what it is.

Here is a song in flash format. Keep everything in the same folder and click the .exe file to play.

I also have a word cloze in there so students can listen and fill in the missing lyrics.

Here's a word lotto game for this unit.  My students really enjoyed the last one so I thought I'd make another for them.

Some fun practice. I used this to explain the difference between neck ties and bow ties.

Bowties are cool.  8)

This looks great, but I don't remember exactly how it works. What do the kids do? Guess the sentences?

No problem! So the kids listen to video once, and then I ask them "what expressions did you hear in the video?" and they try to answer with all of the expressions they remember. Print out the answers before class so you know which number to click on in the powerpoint. If they can't think of anymore and there are still some numbers left blank, they can watch the video again. My students get really excited and try to remember all the sentences after watching only one time.

If you notice, sometimes you will click on a number and a picture will pop up. If that happens I give that student a coupon. If the sentence pops up with no picture(usually the easiest phrases), the students just repeat the phrase like normal.

Once they get all the sentences we do a listen and repeat together.

Hope that helps! :)
