So, I wasn't a fan of the story from the book (as I am sure many people are not). I made up a story and used some puppets to tell the story. I made a quarter sheet matching worksheet so the students could match each animal with the correct age and then we checked it all together at the end.

The second part of the lesson focused on "don't ____" phrases. Using the popular game 4 Pics 1 Word, I made a game so students could think a bit outside the box and practice their writing. This was a group game. The students really enjoyed it once they got the concept. Some lower level students/classes had a little difficulty getting started but overall it went well. Feel free to use this, change it and make it better!

Not sure if there isn't anything for this book because no one has it, but I'll add some things anyways.

Chapter 7- What day is it today?

Attached are the intro powerpoints for class 1 and 2, a battleship game, a bomb game, and a timetable info gap.

A fill in the blank for the story in class one.
A blank bingo board for the game in class 1 (from the book). Figured it was easier and less time consuming than having them draw their own!

I am on chapter 9 which is covering There is/are, so I am going to do this Halloween activity with grade 4. I am making the 8 page blank books in advance to hand out to the students.
