This site is a wonderful resource with hundreds of excellent lessons.
I'd be interested to see what lessons on this site you have found to have worked best in your classes, and also take the opportunity to give recognition and thanks to the teachers who have produced some really amazing lessons. This thread is for middle school lessons (if you'd like to do something similar for different age groups, go ahead!).
In the interests of keeping it relatively tight, I'd like you to choose up to 3 lessons which you found to have worked really well.
My selection (in no particular order)

http://fourfootprints.com/category/esl/lesson-plans/middle-school/I know this is a link to an outside site, however this teacher has posted all of these lessons on this site. The powerpoints are slick, the lesson plans are well-designed, and the classes are fun. My favourite is the "What happened next" lesson. Be warned, the file sizes are pretty big, and take forever to download on my school connection.

http://www.waygook.org/index.php/topic,36709.0.htmlWhitespider's storybook lessons. These are great. You can edit them to last 1,2 or 3 periods. There is a nice selection of stories, and many of them the students are familiar with them, so even weaker students who struggle to understand are able to participate. These are also a great fallback in case the IT in your room fails. (I have a spare set of copies, just in case).

http://www.waygook.org/index.php?topic=40048.0This is one of my favourites. It was great to see the students produce creative work. The powerpoints really guide their poem production and I found it worked really well in mixed-level classes. Top students produced great stuff, and even weaker students surprised me with their poems.
