I have to stretch my lessons out over a long period of time and my children aren't very fast at picking up on the language so for one class lesson we're just covering the expression "How about..." This is a ppt I've made for it. Should be pretty self-explanatory. I made it in Gmail so you might need to reformat some things.

Here is my part 1 of Lesson 3.

Going to use a game but currently editing it for the class. Will hopefully have it up before lunch today.

Here is my lesson for Part 1. I included a lot of the same material from previous posters on chores and changing the verbs. Thanks so much for all the contributions!

Song ties in really well with the lesson. However, I'm not sure how to get the students more involved with the song. Worksheet, fill in the missing word or sing along? Any suggestion?

I used this song with a similar lesson last year. I plan to use it again at some stage to cover this lesson. I used a fill in the blanks sheet with it, which most of the students completed without any problems.

I've made a game for reviewing lessons 1, 2 and 3, as my school has mid-terms next week.
You can check it out in the reviews section of Grade 1, if you need it.

As it turns out my school decided not to put anything from Lesson 3 in the Mid-terms.
I then later found out that they haven't even taught lesson 3 yet haha
So I have made this as an extra lesson for lesson 3.
It is basically information about the 3 R's.
With a 'create a poster' at the end (which I intend to drag out over the next class too. I figured if I tell them there is a prize and the posters will be put around School, they might put some effort into them. Fingers crossed)
There is a warm up game at the beginning called Alpha and Omega. You might have a different name for it. Super easy to play. Start with one Ss and they say any word. Then the next Ss must say a word starting with the last letter of the previous word. I usually count down from 5 so they have to think quickly or they're out. If they say a word like 'eye' with the same letter at the beginning and end, I stop the game and they get a candy and they can choose any Ss to be out. (makes it more fun).
Adapt it to your classes as you know your students.
Like I said, this is an extra class so there is not time limit on the activities. I plan to stretch it over 2 weeks.
Also, when you get to the slide with the 9 pictures (slide (9). You can click on them and it will link to the appropriate slide. Then to get back just click the recycle sign. Once you have done all 9 pictures click on the power button (next to the light bulb) and it will take you to the Poster activity.

Super proud of this one! I taught at a middle school in rural Japan and they had a similar unit. I scanned their worksheet and similarly-themed midterm listening test, and pasted them onto a worksheet for your Korean students. I named it "Are You Smarter Than A Japanese First Grader?"
Dictation for the listening section is at the end of the powerpoint. The worksheet is two-sided and included as an Open Office document, but Word should be able to open it.

This is a pairs game that practices the C sections from the lesson.
It's like Connect 4 (but with 5 to make it more challenging)
I accidentally played Battleship last lesson, so now I'm doing this instead. It's pretty self-explanatory. I put the papers in plastic sleeves and am having the kids use whiteboard markers to draw their pieces, so that I can reuse the papers each year. Happy teaching!

These are my lessons for this topic. The powerpoints are extremely self-explanatory. Since we are still using this old book in 2016 I hope this helps someone. Update any pictures of celebrities and delete any pictures of me there please ^^
