I know this is super old (more than 120 days, anyway), but I thought I'd see if I could get some help using Jazz English with my students.
It's a neat book with a great philosophy. I'm using it was with some younger kids (grade 6 elementary), which is sometimes a bit strange when questions don't apply to them (yeah, don't do the university unit) and I feel a little weird when it talks about alcohol. >_< Anyway, I was wondering if you use any additional materials? The best classes are the Almost Free Talking heavy days, but since I'm not holding them accountable for the vocabulary and they've been pretty universally lame at doing their writing homework, the discussions have been in a pretty big rut lately.
I think I just need to find the teacher's book. I'm a bit daft and didn't know it existed until really recently and kept wondering where all the tests being mentioned were! I thought I was soooo clever when I snapped up the workbook at Kyobo when I saw it. I hope it's at the the Busan Shinsegae Kyobo. This is pretty much a non-question at this point, but any suggestions would be lovely.
That's that. Time to plan! Thanks, guys.
