I ran the Headless Horseman lesson with my low-level mixed first grade high schoolers first period, to mixed results.  They understood the gist of the story, but for the most part, they seemed pretty bored.

Was that the English or Korean version? Has anyone shown the Korean version yet? I'd be interested to know what kind of reactions people are getting with the Korean version.

It was the English version, since the Korean one seems to have been taken down.  They still understood to basics of the story, but there were times (particularly when the  narrator spoke) when their eyes glossed right over.  The chase scene was a big hit, as were some of the comic scenes, but without the Korean version, I'm not sure if this is a lesson worth running.  Maybe if you have high level students.
