« on: December 04, 2013, 01:04:43 PM »
It's done! Updated and re-posted

A Maple story theme bomb game.
Perfect for after exams.

My boy's loved this game.

Notes:
- keep everything in the same folder.
- Nuclear = all teams lose their points
- Its a large file because of the video intro.
- To advance to the next world click the compass in the top right corner (world 1) / bottom left hand corner (world 2)

Features:
- 3 interactive worlds (10 questions each)
- 30 questions total
- Fun hidden shop to spend points on candy and bombs
- Mystery Boxes to open or give to another team to open

Download link is here.

Played it today with my students and I gotta say this is your best game yet. Some students came up to me after class and told me it was a very fun game. Nicely done.

I did no modifications at all to it.

There are only a few recommendations I have:

1st) Maybe prettier fonts
2nd) On the answer slide maybe

Everything else was nicely done.

I really like how there were very few slides that had "only points". The students really enjoyed fighting the bosses, the doors.

and OMG

Your shop.

It was amazingly done. Nothing like letting the students dive negative to make another team negative too.

I was wondering how you'd incorporate a shop (since in my game the shop was like a focal point) and the fact you made it a REWARD slide was REALLY smart.

Also for nuclear I made it so we rolled a 4 sided dice and the team that came up went straight to 0 points.

Lose all points is really unfun to me since students feel like their efforts are gonna just get blown up anyway. (Trade is a little anti fun too but we only hit one and it was at a good time).

Really nicely done this time stemarty. You nailed this one! Sounds were great too. Selection was great.

10/10.

I believe the size is a little bit too big for waygook. I'll upload it to my website. I believe ste wouldn't have a problem with that.

Not at all. Please load it to your site, septeacher.

If you can figure out how the heck to minimize the file, let me know and maybe I can upload it in separate files.

This is INCREDIBLE.

Marty, I'm not kidding when I say I appreciate this with all my heart. I've used your videos for nearly two years with my K to 3rd grade glasses with great success. I sometimes use them with older students as well. Who doesn't like adorable puppets? They love them, it's perfectly geared towards their age group.

But this? It's obvious you put so, so much work into this. Thank you.

Thanks! My boys loved it!

If anyone played this with girls, let me know how it went. Im trying to add more things for the girls to like....but its hard when you teach only boys

Thank you for this wonderful activity.  It's fabulous.  I do have some questions.  Am I supposed to make the questions and answers myself?  Thanks.

yes. This is a game template meant to be a skeleton for any teachers class, for any lesson plan.

I make the game, you make the questions and answers.
