Qook Internet Phone
« on: March 29, 2011, 02:56:49 am »
Hello all,

My name is Jeremy and perhaps this is a silly question, but my wife and I just had our internet phone hooked up at our apartment. It is through KT and is a  Unidata UD201-012W. The phones printed brand is Olleh... not sure which one is more helpful. I googled like crazy and have had no luck :-[. I would like to change the menu to English if there is such an option. Also, I would love to have a manuel in English to reference.  I have many more questions, but was wondering if anyone else had the same question and if they would share what they found out with me. Thanks to much!

Jeremy

Ummm sorry if this is no help whatsoever, but I will try.  I don't have that kind of phone, so I'm not familiar with how it works.  However, to change the language, you probably need to go to menu (메뉴) or settings (사용환경 설정, or similar), and then go to language (언어) and select English (영어).  My Korean is far from perfect, so that advice may be a bit off the mark.  Hope that at least gets the phone menus in English for you.

My Korean is pretty much non-existent, but I have wandered and found the "setting Menu" it has four options and none of which match the Korean you had... it is hard to know what preliminary menus to go through. Thank you for your suggestions.... do you think they have an english option if I call customer service?

 :(
I am sad to have found out from a Korean teacher at my school that our phone doesn't have a language option unless someone knows something I don't. I guess I was hoping to figgure something out without needing someone to take time to translate for me. Oh well... thanks for the help anyways!
