Thanks for everyone's input so far on this new book! I pulled from a few ppts already on here and made it much more extensive to fit the needs of my class. :)
It includes:

Meet the Character
New Words
Practice (New Phrases)
Four Corners Game (I changed it slightly)

If there are any questions feel free to ask!

Also, as far as materials for the book go, if you right click on the CD in "My computer" and click "O" for open, all the materials should be there. It'll be very tedious if you don't know Korean, but I may work up an easy translation for those of you that don't! If that's something you'd be interested in please let me know if Its something I should invest time in.

Thanks for the heads up! My coteacher caught it yesterday after a giggle and we changed it.

This PPT introduces the characters for the book and does a little bit of drilling of their names, and then the characters meet each other.  Word balloons pop up in sequence -- I only show the word balloon after the class has already correctly said the phrase that will be shown, with the correct character name included.  After this I might even remember the characters' names myself this semester :)

The characters meet each other in a variety of places to keep it interesting.

Key phrases practiced:
"Hi, I'm ____.  What's your name?"
"My name is ______."

When we ran short in a couple of classes we extended it to include the customary "Nice to meet you" / "Nice to meet you, too" and then talked a little bit about what makes a good handshake.  The kids loved it when I would just keep on shaking and shaking someone's hand.  I also introduced the term "dead fish handshake", a demonstration they also enjoyed.

Here is a prezi to use for the Listen and Play section. It saves you from having to draw the character cards out of a hat (or whatever).

Thanks for the Chase the Vocab, Good Morning Song, and Four Corners Game! This semester I'll be going over the textbook materials in my afterschool lessons as well, so here's some other stuff I've modified to fit this lesson.

Both the bomb game and the guessing game came from materials from a previous textbook, so thanks to whomever originally made them here on Waygook. I cut out the pictures from the bomb game and will use them in more interactive activities, such as 7-Up, Memory, and having the kids go around to find the student with the same picture as them.
