Four Corners Game. Have the students choose a corner, then introduce themselves as characters from the book, say "nice to meet you" and have them all respond "nice to meet you, too!" before dropping the bombs on the ones who have to sit down. Enjoy!

Will I have to get my CT to sign in for me if I want to access the CD's online? It looks like I'm missing some CD's from my teacher's guide so I think I need to just access them online.

I wrote this song to help students get language practice in a fun way.
If you don't like jazz, then I would not recommend this song.

UPDATE: I managed to work on the song before presentation.  This song did manage to get the kids to groove. It's funny watching grade 3 students' heads moving up and down to the tune. :-)

1. Find Psy game, earn points by either saying "Hi, i'm _____" , "Bye" or "nice to meet you"
(I like to play girls against boys)
(click on the character to reveal the points behind the image)

2. Find your partner - each student gets a character card, they walk around and introduce themselves "Hi, I'm______". If they find the matching character they say "Nice to meet you"
If they character does not match they say "bye" and continue walking around.

I made the around the world powerpoint more pretty and added a Korea slide in the end as well as modified the English language one, to include more country flags.

Basic writing activity to practice A-F. My kids are low-level and some of their letters fly or sink so this is just to help with with the placement.

gidget, this is *exactly* what I'm looking for for my lower level students! Would you happen to have the worksheets for the rest of the alphabet (H to Z)?? Please and thanks!  ;D

RPS A-F Alphabet Game.

Work in pairs.  Each person starts on either end and read the letters/characters.  When you meet, play RPS.  Winner keeps going, loser goes back to start.  First to the other end is the winner.

Anyone have any ideas on how to make the "Show time" part more interesting?
How do you usually teach it?

Lesson 1: Show Time Script

Contains English, Korean meaning, and how to pronounce the English part using Korean letters (I use it only for the weakest students).

Enjoy!

My co was saying that the Showtime was pretty unnatural, so I combined resources from above lessons for a new (simple dialogue) inspired from Olaf's introduction video stolen from a Prezi above: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_yJrytUyagY

We didn't end up using it so we can save Frozen/Olaf material for another unit, but here's a ppt with a new dialogue, screencaps of the video, and a fill-the-gap version of the dialogue.

Hope this helps!
