For the second part I reviewed the past tense because a lot of my kids were confused with that. I did a matching and crossword puzzle at the beginning after the quick review and gave points to the first three who were done.
After I worked on the book, I did Part C for my first classes but I've decided to not do that anymore because it takes too much time (to move their desks and stuff) and my kids don't really do it unless I'm next to them forcing them too.
Then, we played a game where they get into teams and write either good or bad news. Then the teams take turns guessing if that team has good news or bad news. If they guess correct their team gets a point. If they guess wrong the team who has the news gets a point.
I also have a small Hot Potato game just in case there's time left but not enough for another round.
