Hi

I'm uploading a game for Listen & Speak 1. The game is called Typhoon (modified from another post) and the focus is on the weather. I suggest reviewing the vocabulary used in the game to describe the weather.

This game is fairly simple as I intend to use it to help students memorize the key phrases.

Hi again,

I'm uploading my lesson plan and worksheet for Listen & Speak 2.

The worksheet is on the second page of the lesson plan. Students are to survey each other about a trip they want to go on. They can make up where they want to go if your students are imaginative or you can show them a map (maybe with tourist attractions) while they survey their classmates.

EDIT: I created a weather map with some attractions. You can have this projected while the students complete their worksheets.

Here is what I have planned for Listen and Speak 1, which is my section of the book. I cover new vocabulary (we also go over a Konglish word each week so you can delete that part), key expressions, and then we do the text. After that we review the dialog and play a game. The game is snakes and ladders. You need dice for each group of 4.
The slides for Listen and Speak 2 are also in the ppt, but I haven't finished the game yet. I'm planning on making a desert island-type activity.

Here's my simple introduction for the first part of this lesson. I didn't really spend a lot of time putting it together and took information from a different powerpoint from my camp materials. Hopefully it is useful for some of you and wastes plenty of time talking about the weather. I paired this with the Typhoon game from  Cinnamoroll.Chacha and it has worked really well with all of my classes so far. Hopefully you all enjoy it!

Video that worked well as an intro for Listen and Speak 2. Ask the Ss about some of the memos, and how they can fit into the key expressions "Don't forget to V O" and "Remember to V O".
