I challenge you!
Using the cards on page 29 , play the classic card game "BS" or otherwise known as 'I Doubt It."

Put students in their groups. For your first class with this game, have students tear out the cards on page 29 (keep the cards afterwards as it saves time for teaching future classes).

Students put all of the cards together and shuffle them. Then redistribute cards so each student has six random cards. Tell them not show their cards to their opponents.

Next, go over each card, matching it to the order of sentences on the PPT. The first student will say, "Dont jump" and put that card face down in the middle. If S doesnt have that card, S must choose any card, say the sentence and play it face down. Next student will say number 2 sentence and play their card.

Other students can say, "I challenge you!" at any time to the player whose turn it is. That player must then reveal the card. If the card does not match the players sentence, he must take all of the cards in the middle and the game continues. If the card does match the sentence, the player who spoke the challenge must take whatever cards are in the middle.

Play until one S successfully gets rid of all cards. They get a point and a new round begins.

Thanks for posting in this thread guys, I was disappointed to see that there weren't much stuff for this lesson.

Here's a pass the bomb game I made using the images from the above introduction PPT.  I used a foam bomb that I had the students pass around to each other.  When the bomb explodes, everybody in that group says the dialog that matches the image.

Here is a Line Bingo game. you can laminate it and have the students X out the squares, or you can make them for each class and they can tear off the outside pieces. I was unsure how to play line bingo at first, so i will explain. it might be a little difficult for 3rd grade, but they seemed to enjoy it and whatever, it's listening.

they have the sheet, right? and you can start at one end of the row/group etc of students and each one chooses a word. the word can only be from either end of the line. so they can't choose a word in the middle. other students can only cross off a word if it is at either end. once they cross off a word, the next word is available. so there are only 2 available words for each student at each time. i would stand sort of in the middle of the room and check to make sure students were Xing the right words, with help from KET. i forgot to add actual words to the bottom of each image, so when i printed it i just wrote them in and made copies. it took 10 mins tops.

Also included a telepathy writing game, cause kids gotta write.

A Wheel- spinning writing game!

1) Divide the class into pairs
2) Each of the pairs gets a whiteboard
3) When each new wheel is displayed, students read the words
4) Each pair chooses one word to write
5) We spin the wheel, and the students wrote the chosen word they get one point.
6) The pair switches who writes, and we spin the wheel again

Here's a BS style game I stole from Matt Awesome.

I changed the language of the game to "Don't lie."

I also made an instructional PPT

A dice bingo game for unit 10  that features reading, writing, speaking AND listening!  I plan to use it for part 4 of this unit.

1) The teacher should read
1: Don't push. 2: Don't run. 3: Don't talk. 4: Don't touch 5: Don't swim. 6: Don't jump

2) The students listen and write those words
3) Students take turns rolling dice, speaking and marking spots.
4) The first student to get bingo twice wins!

I played this with my kids last year and it didn't go over very well; however, I think with the adjustment using 'Don't Lie!' and your wonderful ppt, I think it'll work! Love the bear scratching his head, by the way.
