For this chapter I reverted back to one of my favorite Scientist/Psychologist/etc, Von Drake!

Start the video at the 5:30 mark(intro with Walt Disney)
Von Drake talks about the basics of Color, and also does a song etc... its fun. You can spend about 10 min. on it or 5 who cares.

Hopefully the kids wont have a seizure during the spectrum song ... (it's one of those style Disney cartoons.)

Edit: It was hit and miss; most of my classes laughed and were interested, one class could care less (it was the boring class anyway..)

Also a couple very basic intro ppts I had in my thumb drive, I'm not the original creator, so thanks to whoever made them way back when!

Intro ppt that review the vocab words and sentences for the current lesson.
It as usual uses the pictures and what not from the textbook. I don't have perfect translations as much as I've added just simple guidline in Korean.

Most of this lesson my kids already know, so we've been using it as practice and games for reviewing the last few lessons.

I used this video for introducing "I'm sorry." and "That's okay."
I only played the first 40sec before I stopped it and asked questions. Kids seemed to like the video.

This is a simple "find your match" game. Need a color printer (or just print out the shapes and you or the students color them in).

Students each get a piece of paper with a colored shape on it. Ss walk around asking each other "Do you like (color)?" If the other Student matches ("Yes I do"), then the 1st student asks "Do you like (shape)?" and if the other student matches they win.

Ss can use rock/scissor/paper to determine who asks and who answers.

Love the song! I've made a worksheet to go along with it.

I've also added my intro PPT for the lesson explaining some of the new key phrases and vocabulary. It also has a color challenge mini game at the end.

Thanks for this. Might be a dumb question, but here goes: How do you get the photos for the ppt? Do you just screen grad them and edit them or are these photos available on TSherpa or the cd's as separate files?

I just press the "print screen" key then go to a blank PPT page and press the keys Ctrl V for paste and there it is! I then crop as needed :) It took me about 30 minutes to make that ppt I think.
