Here is a very simple version of Spot It, but the kids love it.  It's a two or three person game.  It's a bit of work to make and laminate the 13 cards per group, but I think it's worth it.

Here is a simple connect 5 game I made for 2nd period, to get them talking. And I attached an intro PPT that I took and modified, thanks to OG creator.

Bingo game - introduction activity based on vocabulary already taught to students in previous lessons.

Great for helping students get familiarised with listening out for '-s' in plural nouns

Here is a quick opener with zoomed-in pictures of various fruits. The students have to guess which fruit is is, then I reveal the zoomed-out picture and ask, "How many?" The students count and say, "Five apples," for example.

Here's a fruit bingo game. I first had my students fill in the chart, I wrote 4 fruits (ex:apple, kiwi, melon, tomato) on the board and four numbers (ex: 1,3,5,6) and I had the students fill in the chart with one fruit and one number in each box (ex: 1 tomato, 5 tomatoes, 3 kiwi etc.).

To play the game I called a students number and they have to stand up and first say, for example, "Apples please". And the class responds with "How many apples?". And the student must say, for example "6 apples please".

This game worked out very well and it pretty much uses all the key expressions in the lesson. My students really enjoyed it.
