Here is the digital version of the Jeollanam-do Language Program Resource Book.
After I last posted it occurred to me that many users have no idea what JLP Resource Book is. It is a collection of lesson plans that were publishes and distributed to Jeollanam-do public schools for a few years. This year, apparently, they're not printing it anymore, but have finally---after three long years of ignoring the site---forwarded the files to me second-hand. The lessons in the book, like most of those on this site, have been created by teachers in Jeollanam-do.
I've posted many of the lessons one-by-one. They can be modified to fit a variety of levels, so take a look around the various sub-boards to get a feel for what's here.
I've uploaded the original files below. From the first two files I've uploaded almost everything one-by-one. I excluded lessons that were already here or that weren't very good. From the third file I left off a lot of the material for adult learners because it was either too dated, too involved, or . . . not very good. And I only uploaded one lesson from the last file---the Remembrance Day one---so take a look through those holiday lessons if you're interested, although there are already quite a few on the site. If you'd like to post any of those lessons, feel free to do so.
I will try to put this as delicately as possible, and not sound cranky . . . but in the future I'd encourage Jeollanam-do teachers to contribute more to this site. Most of not all of the lesson plan creators in the book are members here, but have chosen---sometimes vocally so---to not participate here. We could have benefited from those 100-plus lessons were they shared earlier. Many of those folks have ignored this site because they don't like me or the work I've done here, and have made a hobby of bad-mouthing me to friends, coworkers, and superiors. But by choosing to be inactive in our teaching community you make yourself look petty and foolish, so, um, knock it off.
Anyway, take a look around, and if there are any comments about the lessons please leave them. If you think a lesson might fight better in another forum, please say so. And, as always, I'm on the look-out for a reliable user who would like to help as a moderator and keep the lesson plan master list current. I'm dreadfully behind.
Thanks,
Brian.
