I made this updated Price is Right game (based on an older version I found here on waygook). Enjoy~

The rules are pretty simple:
I show the item on the slide, each team guesses the price. They have to say the price together as a team. (I have mine write it on whiteboards and hold them up as they say the amount so I can see them once I reveal the actual price). If their team is close, they can answer the bonus question for won (points). The team with the most won at the end is the winner.

battle ship - use with 4th grade after school kids, theresl ike 2-6 of them. doing this with your classes of 20-25 would be pretty hard to explain, but its been done before. i like doing it in smaller groups tho.

period 3 writing - writing stations

page 1 is page that every student needs

page 2-6 - these are the 5 station sheets. the "1" in the left top corner indicates "station 1"

the rest of the slides are the answers.

i usually give 4-430 for each station e.g. after 4 minutes, group stands up and moves to next station

usually takes around 26-28 minutes to finish this activty - so doing some sort of review or something before writing stations is needed.

Took this PPT from another person's post on a different lesson and edited/updated it for this one.

Zombie Town ~ 3D animated intro. Make sure you watch it all once before class, so the videos can buffer ~ Link Below:

For 2nd period I had my students guess the price of clothes worn by different k-pop idols from multiple choice answers. I have really small classes, so I made every student read out their guess, but you could always do it as a team game if you have big classes.
I just had them read out the dollars, because the equivalent in won gets up to stupidly high numbers.

Also an intro PowerPoint, Korean translation on the key phrases and a matching game at the end.

My students are very low level. So I made a listening game for the 1st period. All they need to do is listen to the teacher and write down the price they hear in the table. I kept it to whole numbers, except for the last 2 questions, which I wanted to be "challenge questions" Jut make sure to print slide 23 before you start.

Listening game = Line BINGO

Students cut up the seven cards and make a line bingo board.  Then they ask the teacher, "I want this sweater.  How much is it?"  The teacher responds with one of the prices.  Students find the correct sweater for that price and if the card is located on the outside of the line, they take the card away (in line BINGO, only the cards on the far left and far right can be taken away...not the cards on the inside).  Keep playing until a student gets BINGO (they only have one card left).

The PPT has line BINGO sheets + a teacher set of bigger cards.

Speaking game = Mill Activity

Give half the students paper A and the other half paper B.  I printed mine on two different color papers so it was easier to tell who had what.  They walk around the classroom and RPS.  The winner asks the question, "I want this ____.  How much is it?"  The loser responds, "It's ____ won."  The winner then writes down the info.  The students with paper A should only ask students with paper B and vice versa.  You could make this into a game by giving points/reward to the first person who finishes.

Here's a video lesson that I use in my classes when teaching how much. It let's students know the different ways to form the question. If you have any success or difficulties with presentation please share. I am open to suggestions on how to improve it.
