this has obviously been taken from another thread because some of the sentences don't fit the sentence structure that is taught in this chapter. some of the vocab is also off.

Wow!! had not seen someone manage to be that rude on a lesson plan thread yet. The second version of the ppt has same quality of clipart on it too, so lolz at that statement. And the sentence structure on the first ppt is consistent with the book, it uses maybe two vocab words that aren't in the lesson but it's stuff the kids do know.  8)

ANYWAY, I made a RPS game for the speaking period. hopefully the clipart is up to par :)

Some materials I prepared for this chapter

 - Snatch (listening)
students play in pairs using the cards from their textbooks. first student to snatch the correct card gets one point. student with the most points wins.

 - Pass the ball (speaking/reading)

 - Sparkle game (speaking/reading)

 - Running dictation (speaking/writing/listening/reading)
standard running dictation game. i put up single words instead of sentences for 3rd graders. they have to find 18 words and make 6 sentences.

An introduction PowerPoint with lots of gifs and fails that they loved. I took some slides from here - thanks to the contributors! Afterwards we played Simon Says. Also here is a word search.

These are the materials I used for 3rd period.

After doing Read and Do, we did a Guess the Picture Game. I added a "Can you skate?" as extra vocabulary.

Then after doing p. 146-147 and the phonics on p. 148 we played Pass the Dice.

How to play:
1. Ss pass the dice while the music plays.
2. When the music stops, I count down 3..2..1 and everyone reads the question: Can you dance?
3. The student with the dice answers honestly: Yes, I can. No, I can't.
4. If they say "Yes, I can" the student has to perform what is on the PPT or someone else can volunteer to do so. Those Ss receive one stamp!

We had so much fun with this. Ss got to dance Pick Me Up by Produce 101 and sing PPAp, etc. Enjoy!
