King of Englishville (King of Tokyo)
« on: October 20, 2014, 01:14:41 PM »
i made a game based on Richard Garfield's excellent board game, King of Tokyo, called King of Englishville.

This PPT just explains the rules, then you'll have to input the sentences on to different slides yourself. If the rules are confusing, google king of tokyo rules pdf and you'll get an idea of how the game works.

enjoy.

edit: odp and ppt, but ppt might be broken. use without checking at own risk.

Any chance you could re-upload this as a .PPT file instead of .ODP?

i could, but then i'm certain the formatting and sounds wouldn't work. i'll do it anyway and you can fiddle with it if it's broken.

Thanks. Just wanted to see what the game is like. It seems way too complicated for my students.

King of Tokyo is one of the best board games ever.  Thank you for making a PPT of the rules for it before I was.  My goal is convert all board and card games for English, so I never run out of ideas.
