Naruto Ninja Bomb (BOOM game template)
« on: January 09, 2015, 02:30:52 pm »
This is a game based on the Mario BOOM game I found on here ages ago.

-Students answer a question and then play a bonus game where they open a series of mystery boxes.

-Students can choose how many they want to open. They DON’T have to open if they are happy with their points.

- The amount of boxes are randomized. Some will be bombs after opening right away and some have more than 7 boxes before the bomb appears.

- Students should keep in mind that they will get a bomb if they go too far! They shouldn't be greedy!!

-Students can stop anytime. They don't have to open a box they don't want to.
Once a box is open however, they must take the prize.

Game Specs:
-Naruto Theme with soundtrack
- 30 questions divided into two levels.
- 16:9 ratio (it looks nicer in widescreen)
- Bonuses on every page. Some bonus games will be just simple "change points" or "destroy points" in order to keep point distribution even.

Notes:
- The points from the mystery boxes appear and disappear quickly. Pay attention to the amount shown on the screen

This game uses a Naruto font. Please install before playing. The font is included in the .zip file.

Enjoy!

Awesome game, great I'm afraid it did sound didn't work.Any same experience.

I've just downloaded and tested it on my main school computer and my tablet PC and the sound works fine.

I can attach the sound files, but im not sure if that will solve the problem on your PC.
If the sound isn't playing you might have to manually re-insert all the sound files.
That will take time and effort + knowing when and where to place the files.

Did you wait more than a second for the sound to load? The music doesn't load instantly. It takes a second or two to kick start.

I'd suggest trying it out on another computer.
If nothing helps and you really want sound PM me and ill email you a .zip folder with sound included.

Thanks so much Ms. Stemarty for your kindness.
I tried it at my school desktop and on my laptop at home, but it didn't sound.
I figured out the multimedia inserted in the powerpoint didnot sound. I encountered this kind of problem a couple of times.  Do i have to get your original wmv format videos and out them under the same folder with the powerpoint and then it will work out?

Love this game, used it twice now.

I hope you don't mind, but I've added in a scoreboard at the bottom of the 'choose a letter' boards. It's from one of ShaneTeacher's bomb games, I have nowhere near the skill of some users on here but it seems to work. It's a pretty basic flash thing that I've completely shoehorned in there but I prefer to have the scores digitally in the PPT and maybe someone else does.

I've also changed a couple of background pictures so that the new format doesn't block the background picture

Note: The counter resets between rounds 1 and 2, so make a note of the scores if you're carrying the scores over.

Naruto font attached also.

That's nice you added a scoreboard.
I'm usually not a fan  in-game boards, as I enjoy having points up on the blackboard so teams can always see them, but I like the design here.

I'm sure other teachers will enjoy the programmed board, though. Nice work.

Yeah I'd probably be the same, but in my current room my computer is inexplicably about 10m from the whiteboard so it gets quite hectic and time consuming to do it manually.
